Montblanc Ink Bottle Patron of Arts, Homage to Adrian, the Roman Emperor who ruled the from 117 to 138 AD. He is regarded as one of the Five Good Emperors (Nerva, Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius and Marcus Aurelius). He is known for building Hadrian’s Villa at Tibur (Including the Tivoli gardens), Pantheon, Temple of Venus and Roma (the largest temple in Ancient Rome) and Hadrian’s Wall which marked the northern limit of Britannia. This ink colour is inspired by the Roman red marble of the Pantheon.
