This year's limited edition Great Characters fountain pen has been inspired by 3-time Grammy winner Elvis Aaron Presley (1935-1977). Born in Tupelo, Mississippi Elvis Presley was an American singer and actor. Known as the "King of Rock 'n Roll", Presley is one of the most recognisable music figures in history. 

This limited edition Montblanc fountain pen is limited to 1,935 pieces to commemorate the birth year of Elvis Presley. This stunning fountain pen has made history, for the first time ever Montblanc's iconic logo has been adapted. Crowning this pen is the word "ELVIS" on white lacquer. Crafted out of platinum-coated metal, the textured barrel has been inspired by one of Elvis' solid gold rings. The cap has been crafted out of a combination of lacquer and metal. The cap features an America Eagle which has been inspired by Elvis’ famous performance cape from “Aloha Hawaii”. The gold-coated clip is in the shape of a V to represent Presley's love of V8 engines. This platinum-coated fountain pen features a rhodium-coated solid gold nib that's been engraved with Jailhouse rock engraving. This Montblanc Great Characters fountain pen also features an engraved Elvis quote around the cone “Ambition is a dream with a V8 engine”.Writing System: Piston funtain pen.
